Was she a business owner?  When did Davies become Humphreys (or vice versa)

Thanks for your reply. I don't think she was a business owner. She married a Davies and they are believed to have divorced sometime in the mid to late 1960s. Her husband wasn't living with her in Portsmouth. As far as I know she was living in Portsmouth in 1967.

The marriage was 1961 - is this person still alive?  I think she was born 1942.  Rootschat has a strict no living persons policy

Yes that's correct, 1961. I don't know if she is still alive. We suspect not as none of the family have been able to contact her.

I can’t be 100% sure of this but they married in Shrewsbury & there is a birth in the same quarter as the marriage

There were no other Davies/Humphreys marriages in Shrewsbury pre 1961

The 1961 Shrewsbury marriage is the correct one, and they had a family. Her ex husband has since passed. It feels like she disappeared into thin air. We've searched extensively in the UK, and have even searched records in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, United States and Canada.
