Here is a marriage for Elizabeth Scales, father Alexander - residence Killigar. 1862

Still can’t see Alexander though. He is described as a labourer on this record.

Thanks KG - I am researching for a friend and am based in the south of England, so although I have learnt a lot about townlands and now can identify Cavan on a map, I am not able to use any Irish knowledge to interpret what I see.
