Can anybody help pls? Looking for early records for Patrick O'Brien b1844 Carlow who emigrated to London, marrying Elizabeth Watkins in 1872 in St Pancras. I am keen to find parents if possible. Many thanks

You'll need to order the marriage certificate.

Thanks - the marriage happened in London and there are no details of parents. I'm trying to find details of birth.

The marriage certificate should give you his father’s name which might help to trace him.

Where do you have him after marriage?

I can’t see him in any of those places  :-\

I tried St Pancras earlier with no success.

Civil birth records did not begin until 1864 in Ireland. You are looking for baptism records so you would need an idea if his religion. That is why the marriage details re father’s name would help also.

Yes thanks - he was catholic but that's all I can find so far. It's quite a common name. Thanks for trying :)
