I have followed the family of Robert baptised 1826 Killin, he was the youngest member of the family, as far as I can see his was the only record of that name around that time but of course the record may not have survived or maybe he was not baptised.

CHARLES CAMPBELL/CATHERINE – KATHERINE CARMICHAEL
Children baptised Killin, Perthshire

DONALD   20/03/1803   Sergeant in Res. Batt. 42nd Regiment of Foot1820 – 1849
MARGARET   25/12/1807   Appears to be single in 1851. Died Callander 1872
ARCHIBALD   02/02/1810   1851 in Crieff, may have died Glasgow 1877
CHRISTIAN   24/06/1812   No trace, may have died before 1855
PETER   12/05/1814   Presume died.
PETER   22/04/1815   On census to 1871 with wife & family but no clear death?
CATHARINE   29/02/1818   Likely married Donald Campbell 1838 Killin. On census from
                                                                                                          1841 in the County.
JOHN   26/08/1820   No trace after 1851, 2 possible deaths in Scotland 1885/1890?
ALEXANDER   22/08/1823   No trace after 1851, possible death in Paisley 1879
ROBERT   2/08/1826   No death record I Scotland.

NB: There were two other couples in the same period at Killin with the father Charles.

I presume Charles died before 1841 and Catherine before 1851

1851 - Killin
Donald Campbell   47   Common Labourer
John Campbell           29   Tailor
Alexander Campbell   27   Common Labourer
Robert Campbell   24   Hand Loom Weaver (woolen)

I cannot see any further records for this Robert in Scotland after this census.

Colin
Clarke, Trickett, Orton, Lawless, Norton, Detheridge, Kirby, Goodfellow, Wagstaff, Lowe, etc.

Have you looked at those baptisms in the parish of Killin to see if they say where the parents' residence was? If not, I suggest doing so.

It looks as if the OS Name Book for the parish of Killin is missing, which is unfortunate as it might have held the key to this question.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
