Millbank Prison

The prison records show that Caleb Brotherton aged 28 was convicted of housebreaking in Glasgow in April 1852 and sent to Millbank prison (then a holding prison for prisoners awaiting transportation, NOT a military prison) and then transferred to Portland in November 1853.
