Hi
I guess the driver/bombardier is a possibility.
He was serving in France by the end of April 1915.
So you need a military expert to see if anything might be gleaned about when that chap might have joined up.

I am thinking a driver in RFA would be horses, as per ASC.
As Hillhurst said, the most likely place to find a motor driver such as a chauffeur would be ASC. Presuming that Frederick was indeed a motor driver!
They were not classified as "drivers" in ASC though (driver was horse transport)
i.e. my grandfather was a motor lorry driver, volunteered for ASC in Oct 1914, and was out in France within a few weeks. I think they got paid more as well.

That’s interesting thank you. I am hoping that a military expert on here might be able to tell me when he joined up, or do you think I would be able to find it myself as TNA? If so, what records do I need to go through?

Hi
Sadly, I suspect there won't be anything other than what is already online.
The problem which faces so many people is the loss of the majority of WW1 service records.
It's a matter of luck, I'm afraid.
