Radcliffe Infirmary

Has anyone had any experience locating records from the Radcliffe Infirmary?

I am hoping to find records from the 1940s.

Many medical records are subject to the 100 year rule.  Have you tried Oxfordshire History centre
Census information is Crown Copyright, from www.nationalarchives.gov.uk

The OHA (Oxford Health Authority) used to turn up at Oxfordshire family history events. The were very helpful and encouraged questions. 1940s may be unavailable still. Try googling them or asking the Oxford family history society.

I looked up my 2xgreat grandmother's admission records to the Radcliffe Infirmary. I did look them up at the Oxfordshire record office in south East oxford though. The ancestor died in February 1902 though so was more than 100 years before I could look them up. as far as I know they are not online as yet.
