Please can anyone help with a brick wall of mine that I have been stuck at for over a year now.

Trying to find out who the parents of my below relative are:

William John Hughes born about 1856 Menai Bridge, Anglesey

Possibly lived in Liverpool for a time.

possibly married Frances Rose (possible surname)


If it helps I have a relative that is a descendent of William - Dorothy J Hughes born 1895.

I think I came across the Herd surname and that kept confusing me. I have Frances Louisa Rose but no Herd but I keep finding family members with the name, was confused as to whether there was another marriage along the line. Thanks again.
