There's only 1 war diary.
On 3/5/18 the Btn. were in the trenches to carry out repairs when they were shelled.
2 OR's killed & 2 wounded.
The following day 2 further OR's were wounded.
As his date of death was recorded as the 9th. he may have been one of the wounded & died later.

I must say I'm having a problem with this as these co-ordinates makes for a frontage of
almost 2000 yards which is way too much for 1 Btn.
