Do you have a copy of his 1886 marriage certificate? If so, what is his father's name and occupation?
If the record isn't online, perhaps you need to purchase a copy, in order to continue with your research.

Sorry no l dont have a marriage cert,, l have only just found this dna connection,, l haven t been in contact with the person,,, as they don't seem to have any dates on the family tree but l will contact later they don't always show everything,, just hope they reply,,

Apparently during the British protectorate in the Ionian islands there was a barracks on Vido, so that’s a good possibility.
