Look Up required Please
« on: Thursday 21 April 22 12:50 BST (UK) »
I have a WW1 medal that bears the following inscription:
J.J.O.Robinson
T4-061513 DVR
A.S.C. (possibly Auxiliary Service Corps)?

Any extra detail would be much appreciated particularly a service record.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Over 60% of WW1 service records were burnt during the WW2 blitz.  You can look for those that remain on the subscription sites such as Ancestry or FindMyPast

Was he a family member?

He was a Driver in the Army Service Corps

His Medal Card would be on Fold3 or similar web sites.

His service number has the prefix "T" which usually means he served in the Horse Transport with the Army Service Corps.

His fire damaged service record is available on Ancestry.
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
