Harry Douglas thorp born Enfield died Devon but buried where ?
« on: Saturday 23 April 22 14:21 BST (UK) »
Going in decreasing circles I have a Harry Douglas Thorp born in Enfield 1901 living in Oxford Road Enfield in 1960 goes on holiday to Saunton Sands in Devon, has a heart attack taken to Barnstable Hospital confirmed dead and is returned to ‘Ashmead’ B&B in Saunton, Braunton, he does not return to London but is buried locally but where, the B&B was knocked down some time later due to subsidence, he was not cremated as the crem was not operational until several years later, not in the Barnstable cemetery, not buried in Braunton parish church, he was a Mason back in Enfield so not particularly a religious person but family had been Methodists / Presbyterian wife Daisy signed death cert which was issued 03 September 1960 so burial presumably some time later but where ?? any help appreciated
