Have you checked the two RMF records above (without service numbers), to determine if they could be the chap with the Queen's Mediterranean Medal?

Yes, looked at both, ages and dates are not right.

As regards the TNA record you mentioned, page 200 is blank.

TNA, I have page 220, image 224, starts off with 6680, Sgt Reiland, my guy is half way down.

I am trying to find a link between him leaving the Rifles and joining the Munsters ( if it is the same man), as I mentioned earlier , it would be a huge coincidence if the same name and number were two different people

There is no link to be found - if he had joined the Munsters militia battalion after leaving the Rifles, he would have been given a new number. See my earlier reply. Not a huge coincidence. Just two men with the same initial and surname, having the same number in different regiments at different times. A small coincidence.
