The Incredible Journey
« on: Sunday 01 May 22 10:05 BST (UK) »
That’s it! This is the last of 16 family biographies of all 16 of my 2 x great grand parents, it’s been a long and interesting journey and I have discovered a lot more about my ancestors and myself along the way. Have you thought about doing something similar yourself, then I would urge you to give it a try! It’s amazing where the stories take you.

Well done, now you have a clear run to do the 32 family biographies of all 32 of your 3 x great grand parents. 😉
Seriously though well done.
Cheers

Chiddicks,
Congratulations!

I am so jealous of your website (I am still learning how to do everything), put myself through a basic computing course at Tafe (Australia) about 20 years ago, and have definitely improved.
Reckon the grandies will help me.

Your way of telling ancestors stories by the generation is much less daunting than a whole book on the family tree!

An ex husband sent me a tree book on his family, mentioning me. I was horrified as his slanted thoughts and opinions were all there, untrue and in black and white for all to read.

Because of this, my family will be like yours, factual, years proven, pics etc.
It has given me great encouragement.
Thankyou.
Chris.

Thank you for the compliment and I think poor Elizabeth’s life, reflected many others in Dublin at the time

Thanks Chris and if I can help with ideas or encouragement etc don’t hesitate to ask. The first step is the hardest one to take, it is also a great way to find out what facts you are missing from each family member.

If you really wanted to make this into a book at the end of it you can always self publish it.

Remember it’s your family trees and you can choose to represent it in whatever way you want!

But if you need help just give me a shout

I admit to only dipping in and out so far (and haven’t read it in its entirety), but it’s a good read, well written and a lovely looking website too. A great achievement.

What’s your next project?  ;D

Thanks, Ruskie, it's funny you should say that, I wasn't a hundred per cent sure what to do next myself, so asked a few friends for some ideas and to be fair there were some wonderful ideas and inspiration, so I collated them into a blog to act as a prompt for anyone stuck for an idea of what to do next.
