John griffiths and Mary were the parents of Mary Ann baptised 1833 in Welshpool, Montgomeryshire.
I have these children born to them. All Welshpool except Samuel who was born in Liverpool. John is a butcher on all of them. Mary Ann 1828 (haven’t found a burial yet, but presumably before 1833), John 1831, Mary Ann 1833, Elizabeth 1835, Charlotte about 1838, Samuel 1840.
I have Mary living in Welshpool with Mary Ann, Elizabeth and Samuel in 1851. Daughter Charlotte is a servant in Welshpool. She is in Liverpool as an innkeeper in 1861 with Charlotte and Elizabeth. In both of these, she is a widow. The ages and children with ages tie up as do places of birth. There is a John griffiths who died in 1841 at the workhouse in Liverpool. Mary griffiths is on her own with the youngest five children in Welshpool in 1841.
I can’t work out whether Mary is Mary Watkin who married John griffith 1/6/1829 in Llangynyw.
Or
Mary Hughes who married John Griffiths 10/2/1824 in meifod, Montgomeryshire with consent of friends. There is a Mary griffiths living there on her own, independent means in 1841.
Both of these are quite near Welshpool, which doesn’t really help me 🤷🏻♀️
