Yes that her,   im still not sure  i believe it   really  but i have some one in Wagga  researching the local  records .  I think she spent a  lot of time   creating  diversions about  her early life .

The Vic reg have gotten back to  me this arvo.

They have assigned a new Reg  316764 /  2022   to  Elizabeth Myrtle .
They wont confirm whats on the cert,    and it will take 3 weeks  to send and they will not  email it .

So  until it arrives i guess we wont know what  surprises may also be on  it. Its the full   cert .

It is my understanding, on a birth cert. where the child is named, below will state either 'Present' or 'Not Present'...

This is in relation to the person who is registering the birth i.e. they were either present or they were not when the child was born.

Annie

ADD...I didn't look closely at the images you posted simply because there are no headings for the columns which is what makes sense in reading such documents!

I confirm that Sue is absolutely correct,  the expression "not present" simply indicates that the baby whose birth is being registered was NOT in ATTENDANCE,  i.e. not present.

JM

Hi Rosinish,
Then it looks as if there is a difference in certificate requirements in different parts of the world. ;D

in the case of Australia, it relates to the infant as stated above.

Sue

Debra

I  had a look at Vic Reg 80006/1908  but it has come back as a   male  named Roach .
Was 80006    another of   Elizabeth Myrtle'e  reg   number s?

"April 1917 - First son is born - she changes her age on his NSW  cert
1919 - She changes her age on his  NSW   cert"

Are you looking at these two birth certificates?
24045/1917   HARRIS William F parents Ernest F /  Mary H   @  Broken Hill
23482/1919   HARRIS Robert E  parents Ernest F / Mary H   @  Broken Hill

Mother Mary Helen is the informant for both records?

Each certificate shows two ages for Mary Helen?.
One age is erased/crossed out, changed to show a second age?

What are the ages?

Her age is  written   clearly on both birth certs and not interfered with in any way .
Born 24/4/ 1917 sons   birth cert  Father Ernest  is informant  aged 37  ( born 1880  )
Mary is aged    24 years old on the the birth  cert .
And its  reg'd 26/4/1917

Second son
Born  2/4/1919
Father informant   aged 38   yr written in cert ( born 1880 )
Mary age clearly written and no interference and aged 27 years old on this cert  in 1919
Reg'd 3/4/1919

Both  cert 's - Broken Hill NSW-look  clear with  no changes .
She has simply  aged herself at that age  and he has informed   the Registry   of this.

I' m hoping the marriage cert from 1916 in Melb  will  load
