Death of Maria Ferguson-

Suggest you contact this person- as well as being extremely knowledgeable about quilts, fabrics, etc. she is likely to be interested in Elizabeth Ferguson and her quilts. A number of years ago she and her team travelled to various venues all over Ulster gathering information of quilts in local custody.

Thank you, Aghadowey. You have given me quite a few things to follow up, and I will do so.

I have emailed the Guild curator to see if she knows Valerie Wilson. I don't want to offend Curators' Protocols! If it is ok with the Guild I shall follow up on that.

Aghadowey, I am aware that your name has cropped  up a lot of the time over the years when I have carried out various personal and voluntary projects. Thank you very much for all your help.

Millipede, my humble apologies. I think you had the right Eveline Elizabeth, born 1886. I was confused. And her Mother was called Scott, from Yorkshire. I am now trying to work back to find an Irish connection to these people.

Aghadowey: it looks as though that is the right one, although there are other various Elizas from County Tyrone. But the location looks right. Thanks again.

Ideally, I should like to find the common great grandparents of these two women, who were said to be second cousins, to confirm I have the right people. But I think the names are too common to be sure.

Thank you both.
