Confirm Parents for Frederick Jones DOB: June 21, 1900

Could anyone please help shed some light on who my great grandparents were? I know my great grandfather was born in Warwickshire on June 21, 1900. He married a Beatrice Lilian Grey (gray) spelled both ways, and later divorced and remarried Vera Mabel Jones (her maiden name might be uncles?)

I have attached his death certificate. If someone has any info above and beyond what is on this death certificate, specifically on the Jones side, I would be so grateful! I've had dna testing done if anyone wants to confirm relations before giving me info.

For posterity and if it helps with fact checking, I also have the death certificate of his first wife Beatrice's father, Henry Grey. I don't need much info on the gray/thompson side as that isnt where my current interests are, but Ill take what I can get!

I was reticent to commit to this one earlier - it took me a while to find other details that corroborated his parents being in their 40's when they had him. It just seemed quite old for the time and there were so many other possibilities in within the area in that time range.

Frederick was born 21yrs after his parents  married which would make you wonder.  My grandfather was born 24yrs after his sister.

Three trees on Ancestry have a lot of information on Sarah Barrett, baptised in Forden, Montgomeryshire, on 23rd October 1858, daughter of Cornelius and Mary (nee Williams) of Kilkewydd (Cilcewydd), Montgomeryshire.

Unfortunately, not much on Frederick. On the marriage certificate, his father was William, a labourer, and his abode was Marton-in-Chirbury.

In 1871, I think he was a servant in Marton, born 1857 in Chirbury.

In 1881, he gave his birth place as Marton and had a son Percy, baptised in Berriew on 2nd July 1876 to Sarah Barrett, a spinster.

A possible William Jones, son of William and Margaret, baptised in Worthen on 15th February 1857, but I can't yet find them in 1861.

This is the possible family of William Jones in 1871, although he is a servant at Marton Hall.

There are several trees which have that family but they are all a bit confusing. One has a photo of William and Margaret.

I kept digging too, going down that line - what seems to make the most sense brings me to William Jones & Mary. I believe as noted by someone - this would be Frederick's grandfather. Looking like he was born around 1807 in Worthen Shropshire, married a Mary but I can't track a maiden name.

And yes! I've come across a few trees, specifically on Ancestry that seems to be a well documented line of this exact part of my family - but alas, I do not have a paid account Liam Inglis was the tree owner.

Did you have DNA done with Ancestry ? If you have linked your results to a tree you can still compare results at a basic level and send and receive messages even if your subs has lapsed

Btw when you said Vera s maiden name Jones same as uncles whose uncle did you mean ?
