Lookup marriage for Reeser & Eshelman

On Ancestry there is a tree with a marriage for John B Reeser & Mary Magdalena Eshelman dated 10/2/1848 at Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. I have looked for evidence to substantiate this, but no luck so far. I would be most grateful if anyone could find this & if possible what the B in John's name stands for, Thank you
