Hi,

My great great grandfather is also William Bussey - I am also descended from his 2nd marriage to Leah Jane Blanchard and their daughter Lilian Bussey who married Frederick Dean. Perhaps send me a private message and we can catch up? Here's a picture of William Bussey. I've also found some graves in relation to his first marriage in Islington cemetery (I still live locally), along with some other tidbits found in some newspapers.

Edit: Just realised there isn't a PM system on this forum maybe we could contact via email?

Edit 2: I see now there is a PM system please do send me a message!

There is a pm system
It’s the little icon that looks like a page of writing, below your identity, over on the left,
But you have to have made 3 posts before it can be used. Reply to me twice with a  :) and you will be in action

Elizabeths 1844 Marriage to Henry GEORGE is on FreeREG.
A Watts EVERETT is a witness.

I found that interesting as Elizabeths Mother was Susanna Watts and they used Watts as a second name for some of their children eg Thomas Watts Busse 1811.

They loved doing that it seems :)

Hi

I hadn't looked that far back in my tree for a while and so hadn't noticed the use of Watts. Not sure if it was the done thing or whether we just went rogue with the naming :)
Thanks for spotting it, I'm inspired to wander around the records again.
