Trying to find out any information for George Passmore on this marriage- age/occupation/fathers name. I have managed to trace back Harriet's family but am trying to locate the correct family unit for George.

Many thanks

Unfortunately that kind of information wasn't given on marriages that far back.

Does he appear on a census post 1841 with a birth place.

No - I cannot find him, only Harriet.
Never mind.

Most baptisms after 1813 have the father's occupation so you would need to see the original parish register entry.  I don't think that St Mary's is available online.

There's mention of a George Passmore in the Hampshire Advertiser of 20 April 1844, page 3, column 3. "A sort of mechanic", he'd been found by the police banging on the (open) doors of the Royal Exchange pub in St Mary's. When asked why, he said "Beer! Beer!" and allegedly lashed out at the constable (a PC Nipper) for which he was fined 5 shillings.
