Sailors Home, Great Yarmouth
« on: Thursday 26 May 22 11:00 BST (UK) »
The "Sailors Home" building on Great Yarmouth sea front has a Blue Plaque that says that survivors of the HMS Lutine shipwreck were taken there. HMS Lutine is famous for its bell the "Lutine Bell" which now hangs in Lloyds of London, the bell is rung everytime a major shipwreck occurs.

Is there a survivors list ?

(Nearby there is another Blue Plaque to Egbert Cadbury, famous for shooting down Zeppelins in WW1)

The plaque commemorates only the departure of the Lutine, and records that there was only one survivor.
