I'm looking for the family of Samuel Loughery, he lived in Maine, Balteagh, The children I know of who were born before 1828 are Margaret, George and Ellenor.

Samuel Loughry held a small farm of 6a, 3r in Maine, Balteagh in the Tithe Book of 1828 (FIN/5/A/52)

He was still listed as a resident there in 1858 Griffiths valuation

Thank you so very much Gortinanima ! Yes this does indeed look like the same Samuel Loughery family. From the PRONI valuation books he was in Maine 1860-1863. In the valuation book for 1864-1882 his first name is crossed out and George (his son) is written in. So he probably died sometime  between 1860 and 1864. Depending on when the Maine valuation was taken. Am  safe to assume that?
Thank you so much for your kindness in helping others!!!

Yes, it looks like he died before 1864 as he is not in the death indexes after that year when civil registration began.

Hi there,
I've noticed the reference to the 1828 Congregation Record and I was hoping it might show my family?
James McCracken lived at Maine North in the 1831 census with 4 males and 6 females in the household.  Known children are Robert and Sarah and possibly James.  In addition the following could be children, Marcus, Joseph, Mary Ann, Martha and Jane.
In the 1859 Griffiths, Robert is living on the farm.
Thanks.
