Have you investigated the 2 Harry Smith deaths in Liverpool North 1945 & 1946?

Are they on the 1939 register?  Who were their children?  There are Smith/Sandford births up to 1924 on freebmd 

If only his wife is on the 1939 register that helps narrow his death to between 1924-1939 This Henry Smith also known as Harry is my husband`s grandfather. My husband born 1936 and he remembers his grandfather but sadly does not know when he died.

The Henry Smith deaths with birthyears 1879-1881 all have middle initials

Could be him birth date would be 1880
Would have to send off for death certificate. Is there anyway of checking this. His occupation according to 1911 census was Hydraulic Crane Driver
Mersey Docks and Harbour Board.

Henry Smith 1880 occupation matches 1911 and Eleanor birthdate almost matches (one year out), sons Arthur J (should be Albert James?) and Arthur. Do you have access to the 1939 Register?, if not I'll send a PM

Electoral registers show a Henry and Eleanor Smith at 47 Back Salisbury St, Everton in the 1945 register.
In 1947 the only two people listed at that address were an Eleanor Smith and an Arthur Smith, so if that is the same address as the 1939 register it could indicate that Henry had died by then and their son Arthur was still at home and now old enough to vote?

Baptism of Albert James Smith born 31st Aug 1918 (as 1939 Register)shows abode as 47 Back Salisbury Street. I have shared the 1939 information with Victoria so it all ties together nicely. Free search of the 1921 census confirms them at Salisbury Street.

There is a burial at Anfield (not in the RC Section, but in the Anglican Section)
for a Harry Smith of 47 Back Salisbury St.,  aged 65 who was buried on 24 Dec 1945.
