my friends father was Thomas O'Rourke and her grandad was JOE - Joseph - from the Scotland Road area of Liverpool .which backs on to Kirkdale

So - I don't want to build your hopes up - but
Garston, Liverpool - registration office West Derby and later Garston became Liverpool South

these families are still in Garston - and I know a Fra****s O'Rourke very very well - I talk to her most weeks - she is in her late 70's .
What do you want me to ask her - her dad and mums name I presume ??

So sorry I didn't see your replies.  It is only because someone has replied to my message sent in May that I came back to this thread.  The lady that responded did not give me her mothers name.
