Can you provide any more personal details? Such as his place of birth, his mothers name. Any idea what regiment he mat have served in? The more personal info that you can give will assist in trying to fine his possible war service.

No birth on freebmd in Warwickshire for a Frederick George Lee around 1896.  Please post full 1901 details plus his mothers maiden name

EDIT

Incorrect birthplace given - 1901 shows family were living in Birmingham but Frederick was b Handsworth Staffordshire & shown just as Frederick

I have searched the following:

Surviving WW1 army service records
Medal Index Cards
Medal Rolls
Pension Cards

Unfortunately I can not find your man. You indicated that he 'was in the lab/ c of the army' -- this suggests that he was in the Labour Corps of the army and if he was in the L C then he could have been UK based for the duration of the war and wouldn't have qualified for any medals.

Yes 1901 shows Staffordshire but 1911 shows Birmingham. Like you, I'm struggling to find his birth in Warwickshire.
