Help finding info on Irish ancestors

Do you have the correct John McMillen/Mullen b1848 Jarrow ? Seems still in Gateshead in 1861and 1871

There is also a James McMullen born Gateshead 1856 MMN Fairess (he is not on the '61 Census)

Last family were McMillan I found their marriage in Ireland which I have attached, but would like to find more out about them.  They lived in Gateshead from 1848 when first son John was born in Jarrow.

According to the 1861 census, John was born in South Shields. Second son Thomas (aged 10) also born there. See also reply #9.

It seems Jarrow is only about 10 minutes from South Shields and Gateshead not far away either

Where are they in 1851? I haven’t found them yet.

I cant attach as they are too large, but have them both in 51 census living in Newfield, Byers Green and 61 living at Evenwood.

Thanks Yes am sure its the right family.  I think Mary born in Germany is wrong though, not sure where she came from.

I have Joseph's birth giving his mother as Mary Fairess, spelling different though.  James must have died before 61 I didn't have his details.

Where do you find your info out, the link doesn't take me to where it state McAlvey as the mothers name.  I dont have find my past.

Germany could be a translation error or 'misheard' 
There is a Mary McMullen on GRO
MCMULLEN, MARY        MMN MCFALL     
GRO Reference: 1858  S Quarter in NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE  Volume 10B  Page 55

McFall not McAlvey (could be misheard) . And Newcastle is 10 minutes from Gateshead
