What about the two cousins Bessie Goldwater and Mrs Rosie Goldwater ?

There's a Bessie Goldwater in the censuses in Liverpool, born Germany circa 1868. Looks like her maiden name was Goldstein.

Possibly changed his name to sound more "English".

Her Sibling born Abraham born in Manchester but statement Canada birth not set in Stone nothing is believable only "Said" same as Surname likely as suggested made more English for Migrant Jews coming from East Prussia

Cousin never claimed Medals as they appear returned unclaimed.

No Dependents entitled to Dependents Pension so likely he lived alone in Liverpool as a Lodger ?

Thanks everyone for your input.
