Jasper Kingdon c.1570 North Molton

I'm trying to find the parents and other predecessors of Jaspar Kingdon, father of Judith Bright (née Kingdon b.1601) from North Molton. Other children are Willmott, John and Elizabeth. Wife is 'Joan'.

I've seen other trees with Jasper's lineage traced back, but have yet to see a single piece of evidence to support this. It looks like someone put up some unsupported info and everyone else just copied it.

I do have a DNA match who traces their line back to a Walter Kingdon b.1480. Of course their own research may not be reliable given how far back this is, but they are a DNA match one way or another.

Any help would be gratefully received!

Hi Dale, I'm afraid nothing so far. I asked the local OPC contact but she only has access to parish registers which I also have. I found an old book that had been written about Kingdon genealogy which looks exhaustive but no mention of Jasper.
