Hi,

If I'm looking at the right family living in Reading in 1891, 1901 and 1911 then the children can be found using the GRO site,

https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/indexes_search.asp

with the mother's name as SMITH.

The first 4 children are born in the Bradfield Registration district. I found this marriage,

Alfred ADAMS    Mar Q 1881    Bradfield    2c  459
Mary SMITH

Marriage:  14 Mar 1881
St Michael, Tilehurst
By Banns

Alfred SMITH
Age:  31
Bachelor
Occupation:  Soldier
Father:  Thomas ADAMS,  Cooper

Mary SMITH
Age:  19
Spinster
Father:  David SMITH,  Bricklayer

Both otp

Witnesses:  Henry Jes? CARTER,   Jane JUDGE?

Regards,
Daisy

Did they have any family ? If so mothers maiden name can be checked on gro.gov.
Where is Alfred in 1911
