John Quick on the 1921 census
« on: Monday 13 June 22 01:16 BST (UK) »
Hi,

I am looking for a John Quick who was born in 1918 in the Litherland / Bootle area of Liverpool.  I have his birth certificate.  His parents are a Thomas and Letitia Quick.

I am looking for him on the 1921 census he would be aged 3yrs old?

His father was a merchant seaman who was away at sea. I have lots of information on him here and abroad in Canada )

His mother was in hospital and died later in 1921.

So my question is where was John Quick on the 1921 census

Regards,
Pauline.

I don't know if this is your man but there is this entry.

Alfred Lloyd 1882 Seaforth, Lancashire

I know your post requested where John was in 1921 which has probably been found by Comberton, but do you know what happened to him after the 1921 census.

John

Hi Comberton and John

This looks like it is my John Quick living with the Lloyd family in 45 Hands St, Litherland.

I say this because his brother Thomas Quick who was born in 1920 was registered by his mother Letitia Quick living in the same address of 45 Hands St, Litherland.

I have no idea if there is any family connection to the Lloyd family?  I have not heard this name mentioned before regarding my search with the Quick family.

Regarding John Quick after 1921  I have a possible death of him in 7c 406 Devizes June 1950 aged 32yrs

Also a possible marriage in Devizes September 1945 to a Honor Virtue/Vertue Fielding 5a 345

I have not obtained any certificates yet as I have only in the last week found this information.

Thankyou Comberton and John for the help that you have given me.  Lots to think about ;) ;)

Regards,
Pauline.
