Help with Leitrim Family
« on: Tuesday 14 June 22 18:03 BST (UK) »
Hi. Looking for a confirmed name for a gt gt gdmother, She was married to Patrick Gilroy (1817-1881) of Tullyskeherney, Rossinver. They married I believe on 24th April, 1848 at Ballaghameehan Chapel.
They had my gt granda Patrick Gilroy in 1855. I have a Bridget Dolan written down but can't recall where I found that  so it may be wrong. No matter how may places i look i cant seem to find a Bridget Gilroy from Tullyskeherney death. I saw one for a Bridget Gilroy in Sligo Lunatic Asylum on 28th September 1872- Aged 55, Married to a farmer. But not sure. Any help would be appreciated. Patsy

Thanks. I have Patricks death Certificate already. It's his wife I am looking for , I put it on the Sligo one too as she might have died there.

I posted it so it could be referred to and it might help others who want to help.
I also mentioned it on your other thread for the same reasons.

She may have died pre 1864 in which case there will be no record. There is also a Bridget Kilroy who died in Manorhamilton registration area in 1864 aged 55.
