Clarkson Burials

Still on the hunt for my grandparents' graves in Dorset...

I've carried out various searches on:
Findagrave, Billiongraves, Ancestry, FindMyPast, and DeceasedOnline amongst others.

I believe that there is a National Burial Index for England and Wales (NBI) and wondered if it is worth buying this (costs £28) as I thought the info was also accessed on Ancestry and FindMyPast.

Is there any reason burials in a Churchyard in Dorset (I think CofE) in 1991 and 1992 wouldn't have been included in the index?

Just reposting in case any one has any bright ideas. My cousin promised his late father that he would attend to the graves, but we can't find them!

EDIT:  I've just realised that in many cases the NBI only goes up to the 19th or very early 20th century. Hmmm!

Have you tried writing to St, Andrew’s? It comes under Wyke Regis but is in Preston. The address is 4, Church Road, Preston, Weymouth. DT3 6BU.

You were right - St Andrews, Preston, Dorset! My cousin found some papers in his dad's paperwork and  contacted the undertakers who then sent a photo of the gravestone.

Pleased to hear you have had success in locating the grave, particularly that your have also received a photo of the stone.
