Whatever happened to . . .

Robert EVELEIGH and Betty ELWORTHY married in AWliscombe in 1793. As far as I can ascertain, they had 9 children: John (b1795), Dinah (b1797), Robert (b1799), Melony or Meliora (b 1802), Betty (b 1804), Mary (b 1806), Sarah (b 1808), Thomas (b 1811) and Patience (b 1814). There are baptism records on FindMyPast for all nine children, so they definitely existed.

I have managed to trace Dinah, Robert and Patience. I have found their marriages, deaths and burials. And I believe that the Melony born in 1802 is the Meliora who died aged 18 in 1820.

The other five children, however, are a puzzle. I cannot find anything on John, Betty, Mary. Sarah or Thomas after their baptisms. Did they die young as infants? Or did they survive to marry and die at a later date?

Any help would be appreciated.
