Hi, can anyone tell me where the blacksmiths shop or the chapel was situated in Fridaythorpe about the mid 1800's. thank you.

Have you looked for the village on any old maps?

Thank you Pauline , I did look some time ago but will have another look . I have recently seen 2 photos , one of the blacksmiths and another with the chapel , the chapel seems to be between some cottages and the blacksmiths could be at the end of some other cottages turning into the area where the pond is now neither had the church in view. many thanks for your interest. Thank you , i have kind of found them , the Primitive Methodist Chapel is now  a house  apparently there was also a Wesleyan as well , also  2  blacksmiths, only one marked on a old map, (Firths), I will need to look further afield. Many thanks. Nikitah
