I hadn't yet tracked all the Farrell children, Jane's siblings.
Also I had 4 of John & Elizabeth's Kennedy Children but not John Robert.

Both were lying about their age. He was born 1873 , so actually 23 at marriage. She was born 1850, so actually 46 at marriage.

Oh! Yes, I knew she lied about her age - see Carole's reply #12, where she wondered about how she explained the age of her children - but I didn't realise he did as well! He was half her age. She must've had a lot of energy.

I haven't found any children of the DAVIS marriage.

THEFT FROM A HOTEL.—At the Central Court yesterday, John HICKEY (38) was
charged with stealing a tomahawk, three coats, and various other articles, value £3,
the property of James KENNEDY, who is employed as barman at the Napoleon Hotel,
Kensington-street. He was sentenced to three months, with hard labor.

Could be a co-incidence, but I wonder if this John HICKEY is any connection to Jane's son-in-law Thomas HICKEY, who marries her daughter Bridget KENNEDY in 1890.

A Bridget TIGHE arrived in NSW in 1848 onboard “Lady Kennaway”. She was a 16 yr old housemaid from Mayo.

I think that the death certificate for Mary Jane DAVIS, formerly KENNEDY nee FARRELL would be useful to it. It is an end of life record, made when her family are around to contribute to the information.
