Margaret Thomas and George Garratt
« on: Friday 01 July 22 00:18 BST (UK) »
Hi all! I'm looking for any info on Margaret Thomas and George Garratt. Looks like Margaret was born in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, Wales on Oct, 21,1832. She married George Garratt who was born in Bristol, Somerset, England around 1830. They both moved to Baltimore MD, USA.

Thank you!

Please look at your dates above - she would have been about 90 by the time George was old enough to marry🤣

Margaret b 21.10.1832
George Garratt b 1900

Where & when was the marriage?

Hi!

Apparently I was very tired when I did this post! I'm not sure when the marriage was. No one can find a marriage certificate in the UK or Wales so we're assuming sometime in the US? I believe they moved around 1850 because George's obituary says he was a resident of Baltimore for 50 years and he died at the age of 70 in 1900.
