Would anyone be able to look these 2 records up for me please,as they dont seem to be anywhere on line.
Jenkin Williams born Cwmntwrch(Llangiwg)1859/1860.The baptisms start 1863 on Ancestry.
Arthur Jenkin Williams(son) born 1893 15 June.Tylorstown.You would think Arthurs parents would be Jenkin Williams and Mary Ann ,but i am trying to solve a mystery.Thankyou.Glenys

If the birth registrations are on freebmd then you can use GRO online to determine mothers maiden name.  Use that info to find parents marriage

FreeBMD there is no Arthur Jenkin Williams registered 1893

There is an Arthur J Williams on the 1939 register with that DOB his wife is Letitetia nee Edwards

Is that who you are looking for?

Why do you think he was born Tylorstown?

1939 they are Rhondda district

The Jenkin Williams married Mary Ann appears to have maiden name of Roberts based on daughter Violet 1890

Jenkin Williams married Mary Ann,Edwards,his "son"married Letitia Edwards,we have that certificate,his father is put as Jenkin Williams.I think its the 1901 that says Tylorstown and there arent any records.Can you tell me where i ask please.Thanks.

There is no public access to birth certs.  You have to buy a copy

In 1911 there a 10 families in Glamorganshire with the father as Jenkin Williams and mother Mary Ann.

The only one with a son Aurthur born 1893 is Mary Williams a widow age 51 all born Margam Glamorganshire.
1901 census her husband is Evan Williams.

Registration for the marriage 1916 has Arthur J Williams and Letitia A Edwards. I haven't found any evidence yet that his middle name was Jenkin.
