Found the wedding announcement - later than you think.   In Toronto.

Toronto Star, 18 Feb 1950, page 26

Title is: Mary M MacKinnon J Noseworthy's bride.    Rev D. J O'Connor officiated at the marriage today in St. John's Roman Catholic Church, of Mary Margaret MacKinnon, daughter of Mrs MacKinnon and the late Donald MacKinnon, to John Noseworthy, son of Mr and Mrs William Noseworthy of Codroy, Nfld.   THere is some information about the flowers.   Singing was by the St. Michael's Cathedral choristers.   The bride was given away by her brother D* MacKinnon.   Then some information about what she wore.   Maid of Honor was P* McGowan.  Bridesmaids V* McGowan and R* MacKinnon.   Best Man was A* MacLellan.  Ushers P* Gerrior and A* Spurvey.

Findagrave has a William A Noseworthy (1880-1960) and Alice Noseworthy (1892-1964) in the Chapel Green Roman Catholic Cemetery, Codroy, Newfoundland.

1935 Newfoundland Census has William and Alice in Codroy with lots of children - including a 12 year old John

I'll have a read over your info. & check out the links etc.

It was a bit of a longshot as it was difficult to know whether the 1945 census info. was them & that couple showed as married which was what I had based the possible year on.

I had no info. on John Noseworthy apart from being born in Newfoundland although I have plenty on the MacKinnon side, some of which you kindly helped with a while ago on a different query with MIs & Obits!

John & Mary (M) had 1 child c1951/2 but that's another story!!!

I do like to have parents' names for spouses in my tree.
