Bond family Winnall
« on: Sunday 03 July 22 08:58 BST (UK) »
Hi, does anyone know anything about my 3x great grandfather James Bond. ( I know - cool right?!! ). I know he was born or baptised in Winall in around 1802 but I understand the Winall records were destroyed. Any help appreciated.

Thank you, that’s the bit I do have, was just wondering if there is more such as baptism record or if anyone knows where I can go from there as I only found John Bonds in other areas of Hampshire, not Winchester itself.

If either the Parish Register or the Bishops Transcripts still exist they will most likely be held by the Hampshire Records office. However they are unlikely to give you any more information than you have already.
