John Wilson was born in Oakington Cambs in 1792 to Joseph & Alice Wilson.

I found a Record in FindMyPast.  Joseph Wilson married Alice Feeks 24 May 1782 Lolworth by banns.

I 'think' both Joseph and Alice died in 1801.

Can anyone see when Joseph was born and who were his parents?

There is a baptism for a Joseph Wison 13 March 1757 in Coton, father Joseph.

Coton is about 4 miles south of Oakington.

Thank you for looking. Joseph born Coton 1757 is a strong possibility, but not knowing his parents I cannot be sure.

There is a record in Ancestry trees of Joseph's marriage to Alice Feeks. I do not have a subscription for Ancestry  so I cannot see his parents names or his birth. !!!

Thank you for looking. St Botolph Church is in the centre of Cambridge and although 5 or 6 miles from Oakington may have been the family church.
