It is possible to search the 1939 register without a subscription, have you tried.

Hi Ladies,I have looked at Familysearch for Fred and found his mothers maiden name Coates is there,no mention of the two girls or husband .the births are 1923,1928 and 1931

1939 Register entries (it was not a census) for anybody under 21yrs at that time are redacted.  They are only opened either 100yrs after the birthdate or on notification of death

Have you looked for a Turner/Coates marriage on freebmd.  There is always the possibility that both his sisters are still alive in which case their names need to be removed from your post

As advised above - 1939 lookups are not allowed

GRO online shows his middle name as Allan

freebmd also shows 7 Turner/Coates births in the Stoke on Trent RD 1920 - 1931 plus 3 others in different Staffs RD's

Parents marriage is on freebmd in 1920 Wolstanton
