Hello,

In addition to working on my own family tree, I enjoy working on local history projects in my community. I sometimes come across old photographs etc., in thrift shops or antique stores, and I try to reunite them with interested family members if I can, free of charge, of course. I have been trying to send this one home for a little while now. If you have Graham relatives who once lived in Simcoe County, Ontario, have a look. Here is a story I wrote about the photo and its possible subject.

Hi Mary,

Well done you for trying to unite Robert/Bob with family.

What would be the cost of having a portrait taken and mounted in a frame from that era, have you any idea ?  Wouldn't have thought it would be cheap.
Here are details of another which might or might not be worth adding to your list of those researched.

I haven't had a good look yet but did come across a Captain Robert Graham who was born in Creemore  9 March 1879 - died 19 February 1950 (aged 70 years), Niagara Falls, Niagara Regional Municipality, Ontario. Appears on FIND A GRAVE

married Alice Styles Graham - 2 April 1913 - Colliingwood, Simcoe, Ontario.
Father   William Albert Graham - Mother   Christina Cudmore Graham.  Was a mariner at the time of  marriage.

Couple had three children -

Marjorie Jeanette Graham 14 January 1914 Simcoe Ontario.–2000 St Catherines. Niagara
died 27 May 2000 • St Catharines, Niagara, Ontario. Married Clifford Harold Keech.

William Robert Grahamm1916–1923
born 1916 - Collingwood, Ontario died 28 February 1923 - York, Ontario.


Alice Dorothy May Graham 1918–2007
born 1918 - St Catharines, Ontario, Canada died 20 June 2007 - St Catharine's, Ontario.
married Lloyd Storin.

Have been able to add a little more because there was an ancestry tree.
Haven't found any photographs to compare
