Anyone else 'bothered' by the new look results screen?

The layout on my windows 10 laptop is now the width of the screen.

The layout on my chrome tablet is squished until I turn it sideways and use it landscapt rather than portrait

What I'm finding annoying are the adverts popping up.  Appreciate they need to fund the site but some of the adverts partially cover the results.

Nothing has changed for me.

I don't use it very often these days but I've just put in a search and the results look the same as before. Have you altered your Display settings?

Yes - noticed it was more “spaced out”.

Just experimented with one known birth - my fathers - and the result took up roughly a quarter of my full size  iPad screen.  Big gap between the header - Surname - volume etc & the quarter of birth

If you get a lot of hits there doesn’t seem to be much difference

Square box to right of screen headed “we found records about Carlin”. If you click on it - you get My Heritage

No problem with intrusive adverts

Windows 11 on a laptop. I see no difference, except a great lack of adverts. There are empty spaces with the heading "Advertisement", but no advert to be seen.

I think it's a work in progress, the layout has reverted back to its original format but the adverts are moving about.

Yes it does seem like it's work in progress.  I was pleased this morning to find that the adverts have moved back to the sides of the screen and are no longer blocking some of the search results.
