My apologies for this.Ive been unwell,and found the prospect of continuing with a thread on Smiths a bit daunting at the time.i did look in very briefly,but hadnt realised other members were able to moniter that.I can see how ignorant that seems,and im very grateful for the info.
I had seen Richard Smith a long time ago,but this seems to rule his daughter out,so thanks for that.I will have a closer look at the other stuff shortly,and thanks again for taking the time.

Smiths are certainly daunting, I've got some of my own!
We aren't monitoring anybody, but we do love helping out, and like to know whether the enquirers on Rootschat feel any progress has been made!

Im feeling a lot better now thanks.

Im going to take a closer look at Nicholas and Elizabeths family,expand it a bit,and see if it fits in with other evidence,such as DNA matches.At least i can rule out Mary,daughter of Richard and Martha.Thanks again.

Ive since added these ancestors to Thrulines,and have found several cousins who descend from siblings of Nicholas Smith,so that confirms this info is correct.Many thanks to everyone who helped with this.
