Benjamin Cottle ca.1751 Marston Magna - parents?

Dear all,

I have reached Benjamin Cottle of Marston Magna, who married Mary March/Marsh on 6th August 1773.

I have seen trees which list Benjamin Cottle (1718) and Edith Cunnock as Benjamin's parents, but they do not have any evidence linked to them.

Benjamin's death record has him as being born around 1751.

I would really appreciate a baptism record to tie loose ends together, or to link Benjamin to someone definite.

Well, his father must be a Benjamin, because the marriage banns have him as Benjamin Cottle junior.

Thank you for taking the time to look all of this up. Why is it always the sibling being researched who has missing records?! 😂
Given the size of Marston Magna, even today, it's a fairly safe bet that this all fits together.
