There were several Charles Conlon, with different spellings, with this one matching a birth year I found. I could not find a census before 1871. As the first child recorded, was born 1864 in Wales, with Charles around 60 years of age, there is room for a married life and children before. You may find Mary Ann Donay in Ireland, or travelling to America. In Wales it was Mary Hughes.
