Begs to inform the inhabitants of Lichfield that she has taken over the tobacconist business lately carried on by Mr. G.H. Westmoreland at 22 Bird Street, Lichfield.

There is a lengthy article in the Lichfield Mercury 19 September 1919 which mentions Grace Pullen (nee Turnbull) gave up the tobacconist business in Bird Street in May 1919.

The article is about her bigamous marriage in June 1919 at Barnstaple, Devon to Albert Edward Gibbons. She had met Albert in February 1919. She was not, at the time of the marriage, divorced from Frederick Daniel Pullen, a decree nisi had been obtained but it was not yet absolute.

I have found parts of this in different sources.
If the article in the Lichfield Mercury can easily be pasted then then would be nice.


I'm more interested in Piggott who was off the scene by then
