Harry NEWMAN married Florrie SCOTT in Dec qtr 1912 West Ham (4a/474). If you purchased this certificate it should include father's names and occupations.

It appears Reginald W NEWMAN birth was registered Cambridge Dec qtr 1911 (3b/782). mother's maiden name SCOTT. (Even though they weren't married at the time?)

Had already typed this while Shaun was posting.  ;)

He was the son of Thomas Arthur NEWMAN and Eliza SCOTT.  That is the only Cambridgeshire birth for a Reginald NEWMAN in that time period.

For interest, in 1891 William (35) and Lydia (34) SCOTT with Jessie (1) are visitors in the CULLINGFORD household Great Yarmouth
RG12/1502/ 144

And Florence (4) and Amy (3) are visitors in the WEBBER household in Walthamstow.

So, Carol46, is it Reginald's family you are interested in, or Harry and Florrie? There seems to be no connection.
