Francis Siberry or Sibery
« on: Wednesday 17 August 22 20:17 BST (UK) »
Francis Siberry married Mary Mallison in 1804 at Gainsborough Lincolnshire, they had four children whom I have been able to trace, Mary died probably 1826 in Gainsborough. Two of the daughters moved to Liverpool and that is where Francis may have died.I have the administration of his estate
January 1850, late of Hill St Liverpool.
On his daughters marriage her fathers occupation was given as mariner, so it is possible he died at sea because I can find no record of him after the last child was born.

Have you got his death certificate?
It may give you some more clues.
There is a registration of a Francis Siberry died 3rd quarter 1848, registration district Greenwich.
This would make sense if he was a sailor.
It's not unusual for probate to take some time after a death - hence the date of 1850 you found.
I see the executor of the will was a John Syberry of Deptford, Kent - historically Deptford would have come under Greenwich registration district.
Both the entry for Francis at the PECourt of York in 1850 giving him as 'late of Hill St Liverpool' and the entry for him in the Index to Death Duty Register in Depford, Kent (again at the PECourt of York), give him as "Syberry, otherwise Sibery", (The transcriber on findmypast has written 'Syberry Orse Sibery!).
Surely the same person.

The exact date isn't given and I haven't found any death that might be him, nor can I find him in 1841 census.
I agree that the administration in Kent is the same person, his son John was one of the next of kin and he lived in Kent
